How iTD Agent Works

Request Submission Process

Web Application

  1. Login: Access the web application at iTD Agent Web Portal.
  2. Choose a Request Type:
    • Travel Request
    • Leave Request
    • Support Request
    • Discard Request
  3. Fill in Details: Enter necessary information for the request.
  4. Submit: Confirm and submit the request.
  5. Tracking: Monitor request status through the portal.

Microsoft Teams App

  1. Installation:
    • Open Microsoft Teams.
    • Navigate to the “Apps” section.
    • Search for “iTD Agent” and add either the production or development app.
  2. Usage:
    • Start a conversation with the bot.
    • Select the request type from the prompts.
    • Provide the necessary details.
    • Submit the request.
  3. Approval Process:
    • Approvers receive notifications via Teams and email.
    • Requests can be approved or rejected within Teams, SharePoint, or email.

Request Processing

  • Travel Requests: Stored in SharePoint, with approval required.
  • Leave Requests: Submitted to the Zoho portal for approval and leave balance updates.
  • Support Requests: Managed via Zendesk, with notifications sent for updates.

Notifications and Approval

  • Users receive email notifications upon request submission.
  • Approvers can manage requests through Teams, SharePoint, or email.
  • Status updates are communicated to users automatically.

This structured workflow ensures a smooth and efficient request handling process.
